The Northwood Lake pool was built in 1968 and looks much now as it did then. Many neighbors have memories of learning how to swim, being a lifeguard in their teens, or meeting with friends to enjoy beautiful sunny days. Music and laughter, splashes and fun are the sounds of summer at NWL Pool. Our neighborhood pool holds a lifetime of memories.

Pool Rules
Absolutely NO alcohol, smoking, vaping or pets allowed at the pool
Children under 16 must pass a swimming test to be allowed in water greater than 5 feet deep (including use of the diving board)
Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult, a person who is 18 years or older. If your children will be coming to the pool with a babysitter who is younger than 18 years old, you may petition the pool committee for an exemption.
Babies and toddlers must wear disposable swim diapers in the pool. This decreases the chance of an accident in the pools, which would necessitate closing the pool for proper cleaning and disinfecting.
Lifeguards on duty are responsible for safety within the pool enclosure. Their authority includes correcting any swimmers who break the rules.
The Pool Committee sets specific usage rules that must be followed. If you have any concerns or issues, please contact [email protected] or Kay Holden 404-432-3723.
guest fees and passes
Guest fees are $5 per person; there is a maximum limit of 6 guests per family per day. After the fourth guest, the guest fee for the fifth and sixth guests increases to $10 per person. Please sign your guest(s) in. A Northwood Lake member MUST accompany guests.
NWL Pool offers guest passes for purchase at the concession stand during normal pool hours. Each guest pass costs $50 and will be good for one “free” guest entrance with a member each day. When signing in at the pool, simply show your guest pass card to the lifeguard. One guest pass may be purchased per household. Each pass covers one guest per day.
